CAUSES

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

For a safe and stable community, we need safe and affordable housing. As homeownership grows ever more expensive, a strong rental housing base is essential for local residents in order to avoid overcrowding, unsafe conditions, arduous commutes to workplaces and a dwindling job base. Kittle Family Foundation Residents Assistance Programs and Scholarships are designed to help support our communities.

KPG RESIDENTS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Among the 30,000+ residents in KPG housing, some will, at some point, find it a challenge to pay their rent or to cover the cost of education for themselves or their kids. We want to help. KPFF offers Emergency Rent Assistance of up to $2,000 grants and Residential Scholarships for Education in amounts from $1,000 to $5,000.

KPG EMPLOYEES ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Health issues, life transitions, even natural disasters – there are many factors that can cause financial distress. For any of our 600 employees facing such a challenge, we offer an emergency fund of up to $2,000 to help get people back on their feet, as well as up to $5,000 college scholarships.

EDUCATION

Because Education is also essential for individual and collective growth, KPFF supports the schools that offer this vital resource to our communities. These institutions of learning often look to donors to update and construct facilities on their campuses. We’ve started with institutions like Indiana University and Park Tudor, where the Kittle family attended, and made significant gifts that went toward their capital campaigns and campus facilities.
